Dear veteran vehicle owners!
In 2010 the “Oldtimer Show” fancy named veteran vehicle exhibition will be held again. The organizer of the events provides opportunity for veteran- car and motorcycle owners and clubs to show their vehicles in an exclusive exhibition. This year again we will give out FIVA prizes for the veteran cars and owners. The prizes will be awarded by the jury of MAVAMSZ.
The FIVA prizes are: 7 prices in the automotive category and 7 prices in the motorcycle category plus 9 special awards by the organizer Oldtimer Show Ltd. and sponsors. So a total of 23 prices waiting for you to grab up in this years’ Oldtimer Show.
If you own a rare, up market vintage vehicle what you would not mind to present at the Oldtimer Show, please send a picture of the vehicle/s to: oldtimershow@oldtimershow.hu or autokiallitas@t-online.hu. The organizers will judge the received applications on the basis of their own criteria. The main points of the evaluation criteria:
- The vehicle had been produced in a small amount and is a special brand (Larger number of copies of the models produced are welcome too, but only 1-1 of the most beautifully restored can be presented.)
- The vehicle hasn’t been presented on any vintage vehicle exhibition in Hungary or was a very long time ago.
- The vehicle must be in a perfectly restored, complete condition, or in original but excellent and complete condition.
Private collectors can place their vehicles in the exhibition arena only in a limited amount (270pcs). Our principle is to present only one vehicle per type. We can only exhibit those vehicles which were picked by the organizer. Please understand that the event is not a fair or reunion. The owners of the vehicles will be credited as visitors for the show by the organizer. In this case the exhibition is free of charge. The drawn vehicles are guarded and kept clean by the organizer during the show. The organizer assumes full responsibility for the integrity of the issued vehicles.
Companies dedicated to vintage themes are more than welcome to the show. For business-driven vintage vehicle restorer-, dealer-, lessor-, etc companies the organizer can provide exhibition stands for a fee with special agreement.

October 22-24. 2010 the Oldtimer Show will be held in Budapest in SYMA Sport- and Event Center. The event is in the heart of Budapest’s transportation node. The “Stadionok” station is easy to reach by metro, tram, bus or trolley. The SYMA Center is only 600m (0.37mi) from the Keleti-Railway station. The event is easy to reach by car from the Dózsa Gyögy street or the Ifjúság útja. SYMA offers free parking on both sides of the Dózsa György street, and there are space for 500 cars in its own parking lot. The Oldtimer Show is a real cultural delicacy for those, who interested in old times’ vehicles. The Hungarian periodic exhibition is the biggest veteran-vehicle exhibition in Central- and Eastern-Europe. With the contemporary design, costumes and music this exhibition is more than an Oldtimer exhibition: it’s a life style. Those, who visit the show, will be able to meet the vehicles had been used in the old times, the drivers in authentic costumes, and feel the power of real music, art and design.
It is very important for us to provide proper aisles around the showcars and perfect lightening for photographs. For the visitors we placed resting benches in several points of the 7.000m2 great arena. Stylish catering units provide ideal location for friendly chats in the hall. Our goal is to provide a calm and dreaming atmosphere.
At the planning phase of an exhibition the most important things for the organizer are the quality and the smart implementation. This year 270pcs veteran pearl will be presented, including 100pcs motorcycles. The principle of the Oldtimer show is to issue only one piece of every vehicle type. The most beautiful of every type can be found. There will be very precious veteran cars, very rare veteran motorcycles, antic cars, luxury category veteran vehicles, racecars, race bikes, and a number of special vehicles.
The museum includes vehicles between the ’70-s and the early 19thcentury. We will mostly show restored vehicles, but there will be cars, motorcycles, motor tricycles retained in their original- or extremely good condition.
Tickets on spot only! Adults: 3.000 HUF, Kids (3-12 years): 2.000 HUF. We accept traveler’s check. For those, who come from the country side, 50% discount available from MÁV Start. We are waiting for visitors with special gifts and surprises from 9:00am till 7:00pm all three days.
